Man Utd fans fight each other as bar brawl turns bloody before Como disaster

Disturbing social media footage has surfaced showing Manchester United supporters involved in a violent altercation before their team's Como humiliation. The Red Devils suffered a crushing 4-1 defeat in the Champions League in Italy on Wednesday night. However, prior to kick-off, beside the renowned beauty spot lake, United supporters clashed with one another as viral footage captured a brawl erupting in a bar. In the clip, United fans are seen rowing among themselves before fists start flying.

One person is sent crashing to the floor as the confrontation escalates, and the sound of shattering glass can be heard. Nevertheless, it is swiftly stopped as several people are seen being dragged apart.

The footage then focuses on one person, who has sustained a split lip. A second clip, filmed from a different angle, captures one man shoving a table between two men in an attempt to separate the scuffle.

Photographs from later on show paramedics treating several people inside the establishment, while blood-stained cloths lie on the floor.

United were thrashed on the shores of the celebrated Italian lake, with Joshua Zirkzee's consolation strike the sole positive in a 4-1 hammering. Speaking following the final whistle, embattled manager Michael Carrick stated: "More than disappointing. Everybody, to be honest, everyone has got to take responsibility for that.

"100 per cent I will take responsibility for the overall team and the performance. That is where it stops, it stops with me. I am absolutely fine with that and I accept that totally. But as a supporter of this football club for so long, and I care so much about this football club, to see it perform like that is unacceptable.

"There are all sorts of elements to a performance. I will definitely look at what we have done. The motivation, the intention, the purpose, and the intensity of the game of football you have to bring. We didn't bring that today.

"We have shown it for six or seven months, but you cannot turn it on and off. You cannot choose when you want to perform or when you don't want to perform. So, until you do that, you're not going to win football matches.

"I care an unbelievable amount about the supporters. You know, they're the heartbeat of this football club and always will be. For them to travel, I can only apologise for the performance.

"Everything they have done to get here tonight, to have to watch a performance like that, I totally feel for them. There is no excuses at all. It is just not acceptable."
