Live: Israel instructs military to prepare to ‘defeat Hamas’ in case of renewed fighting

 Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Wednesday ordered the military to prepare “to crush” Hamas in the event of renewed combat and if the group doesn’t honour the Gaza truce deal. Katz’s statement comes after the group’s armed wing said it had transferred all the remains it could access, and that it would need special recovery equipment to reach more bodies.
