YouTube has launched its YouTube Kids app in India targetting kids aged 2-10 years. The app comes with age-based customization. The service has arrived in India, 18 months after its successful launch in the USA.
The app can be downloaded for free from the Playstore in Android phones and from from the App Store in the iOS device. The app would serve as a platform for today’s tech savvy kids to find videos on topics they want to explore. It app also supports voice search to let children find videos if they cannot spell or type yet.
YouTube Kids has channels and playlists across four categories, namely Shows, Music, Learning, and Explore.
