These are the top 5 haunted places in Delhi

When we hear the word ’Supernatural’, the first few things that come into our mind are vampires, demons, ghosts, zombies, mermaids, witches, aliens or angels. But the question is do they really exist? The answer to this question is actually a matter of belief. But even if you think that there is no presence of the supernatural around you, then these places might prove you wrong.

The following places are known to be the most haunted places in the National Capital Region of India i.e. Delhi.

1. Delhi Cantonment

Delhi Cantonment is known to be haunted  by the Ghost Lady. There are beliefs that people find a lady wearing a white saree while driving throught the road at midnight. So, the next time you are driving through the road and see some lady, just increase the speed of your car and probably this way the lady won’t trouble you!

2. House number W-3, Greater Kailash

It is known that decades ago an aged couple was murdered at this house. And so, it is believed that the couple’s spirit haunt this place. People have have felt a series of mysterious happenings near this place- cries, sob, screams are heard coming out of this place.

3. Sanjay Van

Sanjay Van is a huge forest near Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. It is known to be inhabited by spirits who used to live in the numerous Majaars’ houses. There are also graves located here which are broken. People have heard children’s cries coming from the graves in addition to pushing and clawing noises.

4. Feroz Shah Kotla

This fort is situated on Bahadur Shah Zafar road is one of the most haunted places in delhi. This fort is ruined and haunted and so it is not attracted by many visitors. There is presence of Djinns inside the dark halls and empty corners of the fort which produce an eerie vibe. According to the locals, Djinns can make one’s wish come true.

5. Khuni Darwaza

This place is called Bloody Gate. During the partition riots of 1947, hundreds of refugees were murdered at this place. And so it is said to be haunted by people killed near the gate. There cries and screams could be heard at midnight by people passing by.
