Up until very recently, we haven’t seen much in the way of footage or even images from Logan, otherwise known as Wolverine 3. That just changed with the release of the film’s first trailer, and it represents a huge tonal and aesthetic shift from the character’s past appearances. Here, we see Logan as an older man in a world where most mutants are gone. Charles Xavier enters his life once again, but he has a young mutant with him — and she looks a lot like X-23, a female clone of Logan’s and the current star of Marvel’s Wolverine comic series
Some actors rule our hearts with their performances, but most of them are replaced by others. Seldom do we come across characters that are embedded in our psyche to an extent where we find it extremely hard to accept anyone else in the same role. Wolverine is one of them.
The movie is a riff on the 2008 Old Man Logan comic book miniseries, which imagines Logan as an old, reclusive figure who is ravaged by guilt — he feels responsible for the death of the X-Men and the deaths of everyone close to him. He can heal every cut, bruise, broken bone, and bullet hole on his own body, but the great tragedy is that he can’t heal the mental trauma he’s suffered.

The combination of Logan and Johnny Cash’s chartbuster (Hurt) has blown us away!
Jackman’s Wolverine will embark on one last mission in what looks to be an epic sendoff for the character, and a goodbye to the actor who originated the role.
Logan will hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
