At the 14th Auto Expo in Greater Noida, Hyundai has launched its new hatchback i20 facelift. The facelifted i20 features restyled bumpers, projector headlamps with chrome inserts, and a new design for the alloy wheels.
The most noticeable change is the availability of touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. The car has also received a signature cascade grille which is similar to Hyundai’s current gen Verna and the Elantra.
Even though i20 facelift will sport the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel units mated to a manual gearbox. The major change here is Hyundai is expected to introduce a new CVT gearbox on the i20 for the petrol version.
The company has priced the Elite i20 at Rs 5.34 lakh onwards for the petrol variant, and Rs 6.73 lakh for the diesel variant (ex-showroom).
